Healthy Options has been one of my go-to stores for vegan specialty products. On May 24th, they opened their 32nd store at the 2nd level of The Podium in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City. I got a chance to visit during their opening day and I’m glad to share my experience with you!
Did you know? The first Healthy Options store opened in 1995 at Shangri-La Plaza Mall. The newly opened store at The Podium boasts tasteful and sustainable interiors patterned after its flagship store.
Healthy Options’ comprehensive product range includes natural supplements, grocery, natural beauty products, and even health books, sourced internationally from reputable manufacturers.

Health books!
Natural beauty. Their skin products are beautifully organized per category: anti acne, brightening, hydrating, age-defying and for sensitive skin. I got Thayer’s Hazel Witch Rose Petal. I’ve read positive reviews about it and hopefully it will help clear my recent breakout. Here is the rest of my haul:
My Vegan Haul
Snacks: Beanfields chips, Bucha Live Kombucha and La Croix (carbonated water). These are all gluten-free as well.
Dark chocolates. Not chick’n and no beef bouillon cubes: bouillon cubes are a staple in my pantry and I’m excited to try this brand! Daiya cheddar style slices and cream cheeze style spread, Earth Balance buttery spread and Gardein beefless burger.
The last four items were from Healthy Options Megamall branch which also reopened that day after relocation and upgrade. The two branches have the similar bright ambience for a delightful shopping experience.
Other vegan stuff:
It was quite overwhelming searching for vegan stuff in their huge stores but here are other vegan items that I spotted:
I’m happy their milk shelf contains way more non-dairy stuff! #nodairynoproblem
Nuts & seeds
Vegan floss
Not in photos: nutritional yeast, vitamins and supplements. (I get my B12 supplement from them.)
